New ISR Self-Rescue Infants and Non-Walkers
These are the standard ISR lessons discussed on the ISR website for students 6-12 months. Your child should be sitting unassisted. Also, for students older than 12 months that have yet to master walking where your child might still have the frankenstein walk and not stable in walking/running.  These lessons usually take 4-6 weeks to complete.  Lessons can take longer than 6 weeks depending on each individual child

New ISR Self-Rescue Walkers & Toddlers
These are the standard ISR lessons discussed on the ISR website. These are for children 1 year and up that have mastered walking. These lessons usually take 6 weeks to complete.  Lessons can sometimes take longer than 6 weeks as each child learns differently and at their own pace.

New ISR Big Kids
For children new to the program who are ages 4-6 years. Generally, the program for big kids takes 4 weeks but can take up to 6 weeks. 

Refresher- Returning Floaters
For children who have already completed lessons as infants and are coming back this year to learn the full swim-float-swim sequence. It takes an average of 4 weeks to complete but can vary depending on the child.

Refresher- Returning Walkers & Toddlers
For children who have already completed survival lessons and are under 3.5 years old. Since these skills are not new to the children, refresher lessons usually take approximately 2 to 3 weeks.

Refresher- Returning Big Kids
For children who have already completed survival lessons and are older than 3.5 years old. Since these skills are not new to the children, refresher lessons usually take approximately 1 to 2 weeks.  If your child has not refreshed skills in more than 9 months plan for additional refresher weeks if needed.

Maintenance
These lessons are for children who have already completed survival lessons. Maintenance lessons help students to maintain their skills and confidence throughout the year. Ideally, maintenance lessons should be scheduled at the intervals recommended by the instructor, ranging from once or twice a week to once a month.


Stroke
*For children that have completed ISR lessons or a sibling of a current ISR student ONLY.* Students must have completed survival lessons and have mastered the "swim-float-swim sequence" and at least 5 years old. Students are introduced to three basic swim strokes, diving and swimming down to retrieve toys. Students attend lessons 1-3 times per week 20 minutes. Stroke lessons are $20/lesson.
