ISR Self-Rescue ® (swimmers) is for children who are at least 12 months old and have started walking.  The program was designed for children up to age 6 who cannot swim on their own.  These lessons usually take six to eight weeks to complete.  For more information please see the  ISR website.

ISR Self-Rescue® (floaters)
Infant Swimming Resource goes beyond traditional swimming instruction, by teaching children ISR Self-Rescue techniques designed to help them survive should they reach the water alone.

ISR Self-Rescue® (floaters) is for infants who are at least 6 months old and can sit up independently, but are not yet walking.  The child must be able to get into a sitting position on their own and maintain it for one minute without falling over.  These lessons usually take four to five weeks to complete.  For more information, please see the ISR website (www.infantswim.com).

ISR Refresher
These lessons are for children who have already completed ISR Self-Rescue® lessons. As the name implies, these lessons enable the children to "refresh" the skills that they have already learned. Students attend lessons Monday-Friday for ten minutes each day. Since these skills are not new to the children, refresher lessons usually take two to three weeks.

ISR maintenance/make-up
These lessons are for children who have already completed ISR Self-Rescue® lessons. Maintenance lessons help students to maintain their skills and confidence throughout the year. Ideally, maintenance lessons should be scheduled as soon as you notice your child developing any bad swimming habits (swimming with their face out of the water, kicking while floating, not kicking while swimming, dropping feet or swimming in a vertical position).

This lesson option can also be chosen to sign-up for make-up lessons.
